CD RELEASE PARTY AND SKATE PARK BENEFIT EVENT

A fun filled evening of Rockabilly music, prizes, great food and fun is planned at the Earth Dog Café in Berkeley Springs West Virginia on Saturday July 23rd, 2011.
...
Dave Moore and His Hillbilly Huxters will headline the show and promote their new authentic rockabilly CD “The Hillbilly Rock n Roll Show”. Their new CD features their most popular show tunes with a few new original songs as well. The Hillbilly Huxters are the only authentic rockabilly band in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and have been very busy over the last several years performing up and down the east coast to enthusiastic crowds. Dave Moore, who fronts the band, is an international rockabilly artist and has performed at shows and festivals on three continents.

Joining the Hillbilly Huxters will be DJ Junior of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Junior will spotlight his huge vinyl record collection and be spinning great rockin’ tunes throughout the evening.

The event promises to be one of the largest gatherings in Berkeley Springs for the year. Adding to the entertainment; a Pinup Contest, Raffle and Door Prizes are also planned. Earth Dog’s famous food will also be served and the public is invited to enjoy a great evening of entertainment and fun. Part of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Berkeley Springs Skate Park.

Sponsors for this raucous event are The Earth Dog Café, BS Tattoo and Skate Company, Retrodini Vintage Clothing and Oddities, Top Shelf Liquors, WDHC (92.9 fm) Radio and Wild Hare Records all of Berkeley Springs, WV.

The event begins at 800pm and will run until 1200pm with no cover charge or admission.

Admitted Heroin Junkie blames tattoos and housewives everywhere eat it up.
Nov
12

Eat this:

Natalie Cole was on The View this week, getting public sympathy for being an admitted heroin JUNKIE, receiving a transplant because she contracted Hep C because she was a JUNKIE and then had the audacity to answer Joy Behar's question "how can someone contract Hep C?" with a one word answer: "tattoos". Perhaps, Natal...ie, if you weren't getting a tattoo from some jackass in your kitchen with a dirty needle and then shooting heroin, you may not have contracted Hep C. Oh, and as the ladies of The View are sympathizing and patting you on the back for surviving an organ transplant (caused from your JUNKIE heroin use), my own father waits for a transplant because he was defending his community against people like Natalie Cole while on duty as a decorated police officer. But will he get the same attention and sympathy from our nation as they do these rich celebrity HEROIN JUNKIES? Will all the housewives who are plastered to The View every morning understand that they are supporting another celebrity junkie as people like my father are dying? The View has lost all credibility to those of us who are actually paying attention to what they're feeding us. Get your priorities straight 'The View' and go screw yourself, you junkie disease, Natalie Cole.

Tom gets a 'Flip'
Sep
25

Tom brought in his new tech toy.  A "Flip" video recorder.  We're testing it out and here's our first installment of many more to come as we figure out this new device.  I guess I can now add "director" to my list of duties.  At least this one is FUN!

I hope to get pretty handy at this little device...it's pretty rad!
So, get out your popcorn kiddies and subscribe to our new YouTube Channel to see how much fun we have here.  And don't get your greasy fingers all over the screen.

In the video: customer Robb, artist Jason, customer Mark, artist Tom, the coolest chick I know, Jessica and our new BFF Christine.  I'm behind the camera, perhaps to be seen in the next video.  Gotta keep you guessing on the edge of your seats and all.

Check it!

Cheers!

Baltimore Tattoo Convention 2010
Sep
15

We've safely returned from the Baltimore Tattoo Convention! Jason and I went with a couple of our clients and we had a great time!  The convention was held at the Sheraton City Center Hotel in the heart of Balitmore.  Plenty of photos documented a great convention.  We felt there were plenty of 'wins' but unfortunately, there were plenty of opportunities, too.  The convention rooms (there were two) were packed full of great artists and some great vendors, but the social scene wasn't there at this one.  Not to many convention goers were chit-chatting the way we're used to and the hotel layout was really weird.  All in all, though, it was a grand time.  My daughter, Ruby, spent her 14th birthday there and was witness to a grand side-show on the entertainment stage.  She had a front row seat and was enjoying her first tattoo convention.  Our clients (including our FABULOUS web developer---the WebDiva herself--Kelly Matthews!) were on hand to see the awesome art and partake in the celebration of living art!  Stay tuned for photos as I continue to figure out the layout of our new website!

Cheers!
Laura Talbert

Welcome To Our New Website
Sep
01

That's right we have a new website! What's new you ask?

First we have a new look and feel! :)

We've added a blog which we will be updating at least once a week with new tattoos, reviews of local events we attended and more!

We have a brand new Tattoo Forum which Tom Kemp will be running. Be sure to stop by and say hi!

Our photo gallery will feature our artists as well as pictures from the shop, events, the skate park and more!

To keep you informed of events in the area or events we will be attending, we've added an events calendar.

There's a new links page, with a list of links to sites we recommend, friends and local businesses.  If you have a site and you'd like to exchange links, let us know!

We have a new press page where we will add links to news articles and press releases.

You can sign up for our monthly newsletter by filling in your email to the right. --->

What's coming?

A new online store. We will be selling all types of skateboard products including, but not limited to Embassy Skateboards, Blick Boards, SourPuss Gear and more! The store will be online later this month.

Our good friend Kelly, who owns WebDiva Technologies, built this site for us.  It's only the beginning, lots more to come!  If you need some website work, give her a shout, she can do anything you need!
